The Department was established in the year 1939. It actively supports the Engineering Departments by handling Mathematics and Statistics for all the Diploma Courses. The curriculum and syllabi are updated to cater to the needs of industries and also to equip the students in further studies.
The Department consists of seven dedicated faculty members. The Department is known for its discipline and the importance it gives to provide the concept oriented subject knowledge through high quality teaching. The Department offers intensive training to students in Applied Mathematics to solve industry oriented problems.
